10 foods you should really avoid!

1.Diet or light products

In the course of the widespread slimming craze, diet and light products became more and more popular. But the supposed calorie savings can lead to many health problems. Diet or light products are often full of additives and in many cases contain sweeteners that “confuse” the body and, in the long run, upset the metabolism.

2. Ready meals

The quick and easy preparation means that many consumers turn to ready-made meals again and again. But the supposed abbreviation is harmful in the long run. Ready-made products usually contain numerous, highly processed ingredients that the body cannot process well and poor quality ingredients. Terms such as “aroma” or “natural aroma” often mean flavor enhancers and preservatives that are not specified. You should also stay away from an ingredient list that contains many E numbers. Trans fats, high sugar and salt content as well as low nutrient and vitamin content also make most ready-made meals a no-go.

3. Chewing gum

Aside from the fact that microwave exposure has long been debunked as unhealthy, microwave popcorn is definitely a food to avoid! They contain unhealthy trans fats and artificial flavors and additives. In addition, the chemicals contained in the pack often cause infertility and, in the worst case, cancer. So if you have a craving for popcorn, just buy corn kernels, take a large pot and do it yourself!

5. Lemonades

Most of the lemonades available in the supermarket not only contain excessive amounts of sugar, but often also colorings and other chemical substances that can be very harmful to the body and, in extreme cases, contribute to cancer.

6. White flour products

Refined, white flour, found in most processed foods, not only causes rapid spikes in blood sugar levels and the associated dangers that range from obesity to diabetes. Several studies also show that an increased consumption of white flour can also lead to an increased risk of cancer. In addition, the digestion of white flour products deprives the body of additional vitamins and minerals, especially calcium and vitamin B1. Most breakfast cereals contain incredible amounts of sugar and lots of gluten. However, especially at breakfast it is important to prepare the body optimally for the day. With breakfast cereals, however, you usually do the opposite. The blood sugar level rises rapidly, makes you hungry again after a short time, the desire for sugar and carbohydrates is increased throughout the day and the gluten it contains often causes an inflammatory reaction in the body.
