The best restaurants in Cartagena, Colombia
Ceviche | © cyclonebill / Flickr
Ceviche can be found everywhere in Cartagena; Street vendors sell them in plastic cups, sidewalk cafes try to show them through your car window, and high-end restaurants serve them on oversized plates. But come to this place for the creme de la creme ceviche, the best you can find in all of Cartagena. La Cevicheria is small and well hidden, but can be found by the noise of customers at its outdoor tables. You can also sit inside on tall bar-like chairs and if you're still hungry after the ceviche try the pesto and sesame octopus salad.

When you feel like retreating from the action, head to Malagana's rooftop bar, where you can watch the streets go by on a cool margarita. Chef Danielle offers a varied and delicious menu ranging from steaks to seafood pasta to tropical fruit juices.
